Try Your Lux - Terms and Conditions (Quiz-Based Competitions)

1. The Promoter
   Try Your Lux is a UK-based skill-based competition platform. These Terms and Conditions govern all competitions operated by Try Your Lux.
2. Eligibility
   Competitions are open to UK residents aged 18 or over. Employees of Try Your Lux, associated agents, suppliers, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter. Proof of age and identity may be required.
3. Competition Entry
   Entry details are provided on each competition page. Entry requires successful completion of a skill-based quiz. Only entrants who correctly answer all quiz questions will qualify. One attempt per person per competition is permitted unless otherwise stated.
4. Skill-Based Quiz Requirement
   The quiz is designed to test skill, knowledge, or judgment and to ensure that a significant proportion of entrants are prevented from qualifying. As this is a genuine skill-based competition, no free entry route is offered.
5. Competition-Specific Terms
   Competition-specific terms and conditions may apply to individual competitions. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and any competition-specific terms, the competition-specific terms shall prevail.
6. Minimum Entries and Competition Changes
   Try Your Lux reserves the right to extend a competition closing date, amend draw dates, or cancel a competition where a minimum number of qualifying entries has not been achieved or where circumstances beyond our control require it.
7. Winner Selection
   Where more than one entrant qualifies, a draw may be conducted solely among qualifying entrants. Draws may be conducted live. The decision of Try Your Lux is final and binding.
8. Prizes
   Prizes are as described on the competition page and may include luxury stays in the UK or abroad. Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable. Travel, insurance, visas, meals, and other expenses not expressly stated are the responsibility of the winner. Accommodation is subject to availability and provider restrictions.
9. Winner Notification and Verification
   Winners will be contacted using the details provided at entry and must respond within 14 days. Try Your Lux reserves the right to withhold prize fulfilment pending verification of eligibility, identity, and compliance with these Terms.
10. Refunds and Cancellations
    Entries are non-refundable except where a competition is cancelled. If cancelled, entrants will be offered a refund or entry into an alternative competition.
11. Fair Use and Disqualification
    Any attempt to manipulate, abuse, or undermine the competition process may result in disqualification, forfeiture of prizes, and account suspension.
12. Payments and Chargebacks
    Where a payment is reversed, refunded, or charged back, Try Your Lux reserves the right to void the associated entry and withhold any prize pending resolution.
13. Technical Issues
    Try Your Lux accepts no responsibility for entries not received or processed due to technical faults, system failures, or internet connectivity issues beyond our reasonable control.
14. Publicity
    Winners may be requested to participate in reasonable promotional activity relating to the competition, unless they notify us otherwise in writing.
15. Force Majeure
    Try Your Lux shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure arises from events beyond its reasonable control.
16. Intellectual Property
    All website content, branding, and materials are owned by or licensed to Try Your Lux and may not be reproduced without permission.
17. Data Protection
    Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
18. Amendments
    Try Your Lux reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be published on the website.
19. Governing Law
    These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
